Getting the size right
Measure your dog curled up, nose to tail — then add about 4 inches. That number matters far more than their weight.

The catch nobody mentions: the size on the label is the outside diameter, and the raised bolster eats roughly 4–5 inches on every side. The actual sleeping space in the middle is smaller than the name suggests. Between two sizes? Go up. A donut bed only works if your dog fits inside the rim — perched on top of the bolster, they flatten it and miss the point entirely.
