Does the SmartFeed Pro feeder work without WiFi?

Yes. Once scheduled through the app, the feeder will continue dispensing meals on schedule even if your WiFi goes down. The schedule is stored locally on the device. You just won't be able to make changes or receive notifications without a WiFi connection.

What size kibble does the feeder work with?

The SmartFeed Pro works best with dry kibble sized between 2mm and 15mm in diameter. Very small kibble (under 2mm) may clog the mechanism, and very large biscuits (over 15mm) may not dispense reliably. It does not work with wet food, raw food, or treats.

How do I clean the feeder?

All food-contact parts including the bowl, hopper, and dispensing rotor are fully detachable. The stainless steel bowl is dishwasher safe. The plastic hopper and rotor should be hand washed with warm soapy water. We recommend a full clean every 2-4 weeks.

Can I use the feeder for two pets?

The SmartFeed Pro dispenses into a single bowl — it is designed for one pet. If you have two pets that eat separately, you would need two units. If your pets eat together from the same bowl, one unit is fine.

Is the app free?
