How many meals per day can the TimedFeed dispense?

Up to 6 meals per day at times you programme. You can set each meal to a different time and a different portion size — for example a larger breakfast and smaller evening meal.

What happens if the power goes out?

The TimedFeed has a battery backup system. Insert batteries (not included) as a backup power source and the feeder will continue dispensing scheduled meals during a power outage. The programmed schedule is also retained in memory during power interruptions.

How does the desiccant freshness system work?

The TimedFeed includes a desiccant compartment inside the food hopper that absorbs ambient moisture, keeping the food inside dry and fresh. This is particularly useful in humid climates where kibble can go stale quickly in standard feeders. Replace the desiccant pack every 4-8 weeks.

What size portions does it dispense?

Portions are numbered 1-20. Each unit equals approximately 10g of standard dry kibble depending on kibble density. Portion 1 = approximately 10g, Portion 20 = approximately 200g per meal. Test with your specific kibble to calibrate accurately.

Is it suitable for wet food?

No. The TimedFeed is designed for dry and semi-moist kibble only. Wet food will clog the dispensing mechanism and spoil in the hopper. For a wet food feeder, a gravity-free programmable wet food feeder would be required instead.
