A gift idea under $25
For the dog whose baseline is just... a bit too high.
Not the emergency: the everyday. The one who can't settle after the walk, who paces when the weather turns, who's fine until the suitcase comes out. A soft chew you can give ahead of the thing you know is coming.
What's actually in them: hemp seed oil, L-theanine, chamomile extract and valerian root: the four ingredients that show up most often in calming formulas.
- Give ahead of the trigger: storms, car journeys, guests, being left alone
- For the restless one too: the dog still wound up an hour after exercise
- Soft chew: takes like a treat, not like being medicated
Straight talk: calming chews take the edge off, they don't switch a dog off. A genuinely panicked dog needs the whole plan: somewhere enclosed to go, less noise getting in, and something to occupy the mouth. This is one layer of that.
Check with your vet first if your dog is on medication, pregnant, or has a health condition.
